After gearing up with a 7 mm wetsuit and receiving a safety briefing at the dive shop, you’ll board a motorboat to the Punta Loma Protected Area—the only permanent sea lion rookery near the city. This activity is ideal for beginners and non-swimmers, as no prior experience is required. Most tours are scheduled during high tide, when the sea lions are most active in the water, ensuring an unforgettable wildlife encounter.
