Join us on an unforgettable journey to the Provincial Reserve Punta Tombo, where you’ll encounter a thriving colony of Magellanic penguins. Departing in the morning, we embark on a scenic 2 to 3-hour drive through the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia. As we arrive at this remarkable reserve, get ready to immerse yourself in its wonders.
At Punta Tombo, we allocate a minimum of 3 hours, ensuring ample time to explore the penguin colony trails and visit the informative Visitor Center. While lunch at the cafeteria/restaurant is not included, you’ll have access to convenient facilities such as restrooms and open corridors that allow you to experience the invigorating Patagonian winds.
As the day draws to a close, we make our way back to Puerto Madryn, with a possible stop at Trelew Airport if some passengers are combining the tour with their flight. Throughout this 8-hour adventure covering a distance of 400 km (250 miles) on mostly paved roads (with only 30 miles of gravel), you’ll be captivated by the main attractions of the Magellanic penguin colony and the diverse local wildlife.

If for any reason, you decide to cancel the activity or excursion, the cancellation conditions specified in the product description or in the voucher will be valid.
In the event that the cancellation conditions in the product description do not differ, the provider of tourist services will charge you the following cancellation fees:
a. Up to 72 hours before the start of the activity: full refund (again we indicate that in certain specific cases the term may differ from this general policy)
b. After 72 hours before the start of the activity: no refund.
