Strategically located approximately five kilometers inland from the Caleta Valdés Reserve and Punta Cantor, the lodge serves as an ideal base for wildlife enthusiasts. Guests have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of fauna, including southern right whales, orcas, elephant seals, Magellanic penguins, guanacos, and maras, depending on the season.

The lodge emphasizes sustainability, implementing practices such as renewable energy use, carbon footprint reduction, responsible waste management, and economic sustainability. These initiatives aim to minimize environmental impact while promoting conservation.

Culinary offerings at La Elvira focus on simple, homemade Patagonian dishes crafted from local ingredients. Specialties include meats from the Río Chubut valley, lamb from the steppe, and fresh seafood, all complemented by regional wines.
