La Elvira Natural Lodge is an eco-friendly accommodation nestled within Argentina’s Península Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its rich biodiversity. Originally constructed two decades ago, the lodge has been thoughtfully restored to harmonize with its natural surroundings. It offers eight spacious double rooms, each providing panoramic views of the Patagonian steppe. The interiors are adorned with rustic furnishings that reflect the region’s heritage, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Strategically located approximately five kilometers inland from the Caleta Valdés Reserve and Punta Cantor, the lodge serves as an ideal base for wildlife enthusiasts. Guests have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of fauna, including southern right whales, orcas, elephant seals, Magellanic penguins, guanacos, and maras, depending on the season.
The lodge emphasizes sustainability, implementing practices such as renewable energy use, carbon footprint reduction, responsible waste management, and economic sustainability. These initiatives aim to minimize environmental impact while promoting conservation.
