Overnight in Puerto Pirámides
After breakfast, we will continue our visit to the rest of the Peninsula. We then head to Estancia San Lorenzo, a traditional Patagonian sheep ranch that is home to the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in the world.
Arrival at the estancia
(Check-in between 2:00 PM and 2:45 PM)
Time to settle in, disconnect from city life, and begin your first experience at the estancia.
During the excursion, enjoy a traditional merienda criolla—a delicious mate break with tortas fritas. (Each guest should bring their own mate set. The estancia provides hot water, yerba mate, and sweeteners to taste.)
At 3:00 PM, we will depart in the estancia’s Land Rover toward the fossil canyon near the sea, where guests can also enjoy the presence of the region’s most iconic Patagonian wildlife. (Some days, even the elephant seals join the beach walk!)
As the sun begins to set, we’ll cross the Pampa de los Jumes on our way to the penguin colony. After about an hour and a half walking among penguins, it will be time to return to the main house.
Such a magical day can only end in the best way: unwinding in the warmth of the estancia with a restorative dinner.
Dinner
Dinner will be served in the estancia’s dining room, a shared space where guests and staff come together.
The meal will be simple and homemade, featuring traditional, comforting dishes.
Afterward, the guesthouse awaits you for a restful night’s sleep, embraced by the peaceful silence of the Patagonian surroundings.
Important:

The day begins with a traditional countryside breakfast, followed by a visit to the penguin colony for a private and exclusive experience. Guests will return to the estancia before noon for check-out.
At 12:00 PM, a typical and local lunch will be served — a delicious Patagonian lamb roasted over an open fire.
After lunch, it will be time to say goodbye.
